We have to have our roof replaced because of wind dammage. the lightning rod needs to be removed. Does it need to be replaced if we have lots of very tall trees around the house? Our house has lots (most) old two wire recipticals without ground wire. We were told the trees would be hit first so we did not need to reinstall.
