I have some vintage doors that are two panel - side by side. I'm looking for a replacement and wondering if you can give me ideas of where to look. Also, when I've searched online for 'two panel', I've only found doors with one over the other panels, rather than side by side. Any ideas you have about how and where to search would be most welcome...

It would help if you gave us a general idea what part of the country you are in.

The Habitat for Humanity Restore is a good place to start. Also any other architectural salvage places would work. Lots of items are listed on craigslist under the materials category too. Good Luck!

If you are near Chicago, Jan's Antiques on Racine has tons of vintage doors. In addition to rafor's suggestions, I'd also check with neighbors to see if they have any extra/like doors laying around. If you get stuck, Simpson Doors makes custom doors - link below.
