| Infrared heat for stripping is much safer than a heat gun. Chemicals are pretty goopy. I have heard that the bulbs are fragile so look for one that has shock absorbers. When you are dealing with lead paint, I sure wouldn't try to make my own machine like some guys have. I'd look for one that is tested to be safe and UL approved. |
