| It has always been a dream of mine to find an old building, like a school or church, and turn it into a home. I've had my eye on this creamery in a little town for about five years. I rode my bike there today and found out it will be put up on the auction block in October...I even got to look around inside.
Is there anyone here who has experience doing such a thing? I'm not new to remodeling; I'm just now pretty much done with re-fabbing my current house. I'm looking for someone whose taken a public building and turned it into a home. If you're out there, please tell me about your experience. |

| thuesen, Here is a great web site for more help with your 'dream'. Just cut & paste it into your address bar. I too would love to get my hands on a building or house. Meanwhile I just love looking at what others have been doing with their dreams. Best of luck on getting the creamery, http://www.oldhouseweb.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=10 |
