| We're renovating a 1700's farmhouse section of our house. We want to expose the stone on an interior wall, but it was plastered many, many years ago. It wasn't done well, as it is a very rough surface (over the stone). What's the best way to approach this? |

| Doing so will open up a very drafty, quirky(in a bad way) and dirty (inexhaustible source of dust and grit) surface that was not intended to be showcased. If the plaster needs to come off in part to get new plaster to bond (undo previous poor repairs), that's one thing. You have no idea what you may be getting into. Casey |

| It used to be an exterior wall (in the 1700's), but an addition is on the other side of the wall. We took the stucco off the exterior last year and it's beautiful! We want to take the plaster off, repoint, and seal. We might do this around the fireplace, too. |
