Therma tru door problem

Has anyone had success with Therma Tru resolving a lemon door problem? My experience has been more like Therma False. The finish is peeling off. The website says no peeling or chipping. better than metal or wood. Customer service has not been helpful. The contractor will refinish the door but says we will now have to refinish every year which is not why we chose Therma Tru which bills itself as low maintenance.

Who finished the door originally? Who did you purchase the door from? What did they say or do?
