The photo shows a sample of Tudor trim. Notice that while the baseboard is deep and solid like a Craftsman house, the window trim is narrow and highly figured -- in this case, reeded. This trim is painted, but it could also be dark-stained oak, walnut, or pine.

Corner blocks and rosettes could be used to simplify installation.

I was think of using red oak since the doors are red oak and stained. The style I had in mind was using 1x4 casing with a 1x2 border around it. I don't have a picture saved but I think it's pretty common style. My biggest worry is it looking out of place or standing out in a bad way.
