Window/Door Conversion in Brownstone - What Trades Needed?

dreamojean

To do a window/door conversion in a brick/brownstone, who would I have to hire as a tradeperson? I know I would need a mason and someone with carpentry skills, but who else? I had assumed I'd be using a general contractor to get our conversion done but we're not having a good experience with our GC on the rest of the project and we're mostly down to this last piece, and (per a separate post) I'm not sure it's worth it to use the GC who is now demanding more money than the contract calls for, to finish, and not returning phone calls (I got the demand via email).

So assuming I play GC for the conversion, who do I have to hire? I have a good carpenter for interiors, but not sure what exteriors are involved.
