Sometimes houses are mongrels - could it be a Greek revival craftsman mutt? There are some of those around here which are very appealing although this one is kinda over the top with all the columns (which I do like, dont get me wrong!)

The undersides of the soffits are same on ea. floor which would suggest porch is original although glass + enclosure may not be?

It's primarily colonial revival, but every house is going to have some of the contemporary influences of the period.

Sunrooms were popular in the twenties and thirties, but most I've seen were on the kitchen/back end of the house. If it was added on, you might see a difference in the foundation, unless it was an original porch. Also if you have a basement and this is the only section without it, might indicate it was a porch or addition. I really like the style.........very charming.

I'd also say Colonial Revival...as to whether the porch is original, it could be but the enclosure certainly isn't. It wasn't a sunroom either--in that era and between the wars, those were more commonly built on one end of the house, usually adjoining the living room...in grander houses, the other end might be a matching sunroom or a porte-cochere. A multi-depth porch isn't common, but it certainly wasn't unknown at the pre-War era.

The enclosure is nicely done, but I'd change the two odd windows so that they match the other 8-light ones.

columbusguy: I think the "odd" windows are indeed 8-light, but just have screens over them that obscure them in this photo.

Here are more pictures. We put a bid in on the house but the seller's agent has been difficult and the seller is divorced and I'm not sure she wants to sell but has too. Has been a bit frustrating.
