| I recently had to have a good portion of the back wall of my house rebuilt after discovering that a deck, back door and vinyl windows that were added by recent POs were all don't incorrectly. Water literally poured into the back wall and rotted out the redwood siding (really ... it was that bad that I vacuumed out the shreds of siding)
I posted info about the charlatan that was hired by my SO to do the work. At that time we had to get rid of him before it was finished (I rebuilt 90% of what he did) so the south-west corner of the house was tarpped, and left till I could figure out what it needed. We hired our electrician to do the work (yeah, who knew) and it is EXCELLENT !! H may have a new career opportunity in carpentry. Here's the result:
