Weathering new cedar shingle siding

tzmaryg

Several areas of our twenty year old untreated cedar shingles have been replaced. Now those areas stick out because they are cream and the rest of the house is weathered gray/brown. I know the new shingles will weather eventually, but I'd rather speed up the weathering, if possible, so we don't have to wait several years for the natural weather process to even them out. Does anyone have a magic formula or even just a suggestion to accelerate the weathering process and look? Many thanks.
