Hello, I sometimes come into your forum because I enjoy reading about your old houses. I own one myself but I didn't come in to talk about me or my house. Actually I took some pictures of my sister's town in Talladega Alabama and thought I would share some of them with you.
The photos don't do them justice but I hope you enjoy.

| Oh what the heck, the view from my front porch. Nothing like the grand homes of Talladega, but it's home. ....Jane

| Wow! Thanks for sharing. Many times, I've seen the sign for Talladega when driving to Birmingham, but I've never driven through the town. I no longer have any connections to B'ham, but if I'm ever in the area, I'll be sure to tour Talladega. |

| Thank you Missouri and redbirds. Talladega is not a place I would want to live but some of the homes are gorgeous as you can see. |

| Jane, I love those houses!! Our little town has only a few big old homes; most of the old houses are small. Ours is very simple, but as you say "I love it!" Sometime I will have to snap some pictures of the old neighborhoods in Denver. There are some fabulous old houses there. Thank you for making us smile.

| Jane I have passed by Talladega over the years when I was at Cheaha running. I had no idea there were such great houses there. We even have gone into town when camping to eat dinner but I missed all of this. Thank you for posting. As always I LOVE your porch...c |

| Hey Caroline, Yes, Talladega has some great old houses, many of them. Take any side street off Battleship and you will be amazed. But like I said before, I wouldn't care to live in Talladega. ....Jane |

The homes are beautiful, but your porch looks like "home" to me!!
