I think the standing seam metal roofs are more expensive. We put a corrogated metal roof on a glasshouse/shed building. We got the panels ( 2 feet by 10 feet) at HD and did not have to cut any of the panels. They just overlap. Then you add a ridge cap that HD sells also. Not expensive at all, just very utilitarian. It also comes in other colors, but this worked for us.
