| ugggghh! Previous owner slapped on a coat of latex on most of the trim and doors, and it is rubbery and peeling, what would be the best way to get rid of this and make it so it can be painted correctly. I do not want to strip it off entirely as it would take forever!

| Stripping may be easier than you think, use a heat gun and it should peel off easier. You could sandpaper the door facings down to the oil paint and then use a good primer before repainting with paint of your choice. |
