| I cut a hole in the ceiling to install a utility box for mounting a ceiling fan. The home owner was not happy with the location and wants to move the location. How would I go about plugging up the hole? I have the piece that came out when I cut the hole. Could I somehow reuse that to plug it up? The ceiling has that rockie finish look to it. |

| Slip a piece of 1x in the hole and fasten with drywall screws on each side of the hole. The piece you cut out can now be screwed to the 1x. Basically you only have to refinish the saw cut, if possible. |
