Split level ranch curb appeal

Hi. I bought a 40 year old split level house and pulled out all of the old bushes. I'm pressure washing the brick this weekend. The house is in a rural area with a nice fishing pond and cow pasture. Can you give me any suggestions to help give this house some curb appeal? Thank you.

Are you asking for landscaping advice, or ways to freshen up the facade of your house? What region are you in? Do you have a lot of trees shading the place? Are you thinking about shrubs or flowers? How enthusiastic a gardener are you? What kind of budget are you talking about?
