aluminum siding - please help

Any opinion/experience which brand of aluminum siding is best (or worst) - Alcoa/Mastic, GenTek/Revere, Rollex, Royal (or another brand)?

Not looking for info vinyl vs aluminum vs fiber cement vs wood. (My personal choice would be brick.) This is insurance replacement due to fire loss and I need to replace with LKQ (like-kind-quality).

Aluminum siding is very popular after being largely displaced by vinyl siding. Aluminum siding is in demand by homeowners who appreciate its durability and style. I think you can go with Alcoa as they are one of the largest maker of aluminum siding. AlcoaÃ¢ÂÂs siding business was bought by Mastic and the products are available as MasticÃ¢ÂÂs Performance Metals lines.

Everyone I've talked to says, "no one gets aluminum siding anymore."

I responded to the last salesperson who said that by saying, "You mean that I am no one?"
