| I want to ask everyone to describe (or post a picture of) your favorite country kitchen. I'm looking for ideas on a country style kitchen with a table and chairs and a woodstove or fireplace. I like off white cabinets with blue accents and antique brass hardware...but I'm open to other ideas and suggestions.
We're still in the planning stages, so size is still adjustable. I like lots of windows and some plants or herbs in the kitchen, but I really want to see what country kitchen means to all of you. |

| This was the inspiration photo that I used in planning my old house kitchen. While I didn't follow it closely, it's just how I wanted my kitchen to feel (from Martha Stewart's "How to decorate") This is another kitchen that I love. I don't remember where I got this photo, but I love the warmth of the wood against the cabinets, appliances and tile. I didn't end up with the space to pull off a table and chairs in my kitchen, but I would have loved that. |

| I love the kitchen in the second photo -everything about it and even the appliances. I don't want to hijack the OP thread, but I was thinking of putting subway tile behind my stove, and there it is in the pic - at least I think that's subway tiles. Thanks, I'm going to do a right click and copy the photo. |

| arlosmom or anyone else - can you guess the color of the paint in kitchen photo No.2? Is it a yellow or a very creamy white? I want to go buy something as close as possible this weekend and start painting my kitchen. |
