DIY stainless steel countertop

If I should post in the Kitchen forum: please let me know.

Here is the plan for the SS countertop: lay down one sheet of 16g stainless steel 2x8' countertop to 3/4" finished plywood. Overmount SS sink, 2" bullnose ceramic tile along the wall and L angle along the front to finish.

What is the best way to bond the stainless steel to the plywood so that it will stay bonded forever :)

Bond needs to be able to take heat and cold- hot pans, ice, etc.

Contact cement- one shot to get it right, scary.
Silicone caulking- ?
Polyurethane adhesive- ?
Thinset for glass/steel tiles-?
Epoxy-?

Plan to use fine tooth trowel to lay the bonding agent evenly to get even bonding all around the countertop.

Thanks!
