| I have an anvil with the Lakeside foundry mark on the side of the anvil with the horn facing right.Under the horn on the foot of the anvil are 2 sets of marks. On the left side of the base is an 80 and starting about at the middle it reads A143721.I was not able to weigh it but the dimensions of the base are 9 1/4"L X 7 5/8"W.It's overall height is 9 1/4" and is 21 3/8" long.It does have an hourglass shaped indentation on the bottom as well. Can you give me any information on it's age and worth? |

| I found out this anvil is made by "The Columbus Forge and Iron Co." the same company that makes Trenton anvils and from the serial number I found out it was forged in 1916. |
