HELP!!! Please help me fix this chandelier!

| One of the iron arms of my chandelier broke at it's base. The arm is hollow and contains wiring for the light at the end of the arm. Does anyone have suggestions for fixing this?
I was thinking that I could find something to fit inside of the arm that I could then glue/JD weld to the base. After that I would slip the arm over the splint and then glue/weld the arm. Does it sounds like I am on the right track? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your help - I am in serious trouble over this one! |

Find an experienced welding shop and have the arm TIG welded back on.
Remove the wires before welding and pull them back in afterwards.
Trying to splice with tubing and epoxy will result in a weak assembly that is likely to break again. |
