Looking for finial sources

Posted by juliepooch (My Page) on

I am making a trellis from copper tubing. My design calls for finials on the tops of the 4 vertical pieces. I will need two finials for the 3/4 in. and two for the 1/2 in. round tubing. I'm planning for 3 to 5 in. long spears.

I have found finials on the web but they are either for lamps (too small), roof tops (too large) or for fencing. The fencing type will work well if I can find them with round bases to fit the copper tubing; most are square.

I would prefer bronze or copper. Cast or wrought iron is okay too. Or, any metal that can be plated.

There are so many wonderful suggestions on the gardenweb sites, I just know there's help for me.

Thanks, Julie

RE: Looking for finial sources

I don't know where you live but there is a place in Toronto that has finials of all sizes. They will ship too.

Hope this helps.
