How do I build a swing set ?

Hello, my dear husband is an apprentice to welder but he knows a lot already so I want to ask him to make a swing set for our children but before I want to know if any body made their own swing set , and if is to dificult to do it. And if some body made one were can i find the plans to gime to my husband? or could you tell me how to make it please?
Probably you know of a helpfull book?

1) Google.com 2) Buy a bunch of metal and chain. Cut lots up, throw away everything that does not look like swing set, weld rest together. |

| Just want to pass on that yhe typical swind set in the shop is cheaper than the steel to make them. You will haveto buy the nice plastic seats any way. Also these swing sets need to be tied down. They may be ok for a two year old but when he is 4 the swing will topple over. So tie the set to the ground is mandatory. |

| I built my own a number of years ago using 6' X 6' timbers supporting a 4" diameter galvanized pipe. It was in the shape of a typical swing set (A-frame shape), only taller and much sturdier. I attached steel U-brackets to the base of each 6' x 6' and planted those in concrete so the swing set frame wouldn't lift off the ground when my kids got going. I bought playground quality chains and seats from a playground supply place. |

| I meant 6" X 6" timbers. My swing set was big, but not that big! |
