Copper Countertop Sealant?

Posted by jojodi (My Page) on

We had a copper countertop installed and are considering sealing it. Any recommendations for what would be the safest, most durable material to use? It is our main countertop so will have lots of traffic.

(Just an aside...I moved this question from the Kitchens forum because it was going off-course and turning into a debate about keeping it a "living" surface which we have already considered. It is a matter of personal preference. Please only post if you can answer the question or have some valuable advice. Thank you.)

RE: Copper Countertop Sealant?

I cleaned mine real good and got some spray polyurethane. That was two years ago and it's still doing great
