Help! Messed up the bronze finish on my Rohl faucet

| I really screwed up. I used a stainless cleaner on my Rohl faucet with a tuscan bronze finish. There were water marks on it and after rubbing it on, it took the finish down to the brass. Really stupid, and looks really obvious now. Do you know of any products that I could rub on the the faucet to somewhat mask the mark? What products do you use to get that oil rubbed bronze finish on metal. Of couse, it will be in a wet environment. I am really sick because it was an expensive faucet and was installed less than a year ago. I will call Rohl tomorrow for suggestions, but they don't warranty that finish. (probably for that exact reason) Any suggestions besides a light whipping?! |
