Metal baseboards, anyone?

Posted by kim101 (My Page) on

We are redoing our house and are looking for metal baseboards and trim pieces...preferably that don't cost a fortune. ;)
Does anyone know where to find them?? (see website below for an idea of what we are looking for.)
We live about an hour north of San Francisco, though I'm willing to do a little traveling to find them and would certainly buy them over the internet.
Thank you so much!

RE: Metal baseboards, anyone?

Hi. We are also renovating though in New York City. We like contemporary and are looking into stainless steel baseboards vs an unusual wood like curly cherry. My husband has done most of the research. I know he spoke with a custom factory who quoted approximately $3000 for 1000 linear feet of a custom run of any material, including metal. www.zamma.com

Did you happen to have any other links or photos to homes with metal baseboards? We are having trouble finding good photos for comparison. Thanks and good luck!

Here is a link that might be useful: factory for custom metal baseboard run
