Wrought Iron Stairway railing-Cost?

Posted by chrislee (My Page) on

I'm considering having a custom, hand made, full wrought iron railing made for my large open stairway. I would like somthing hand made, not the pre-fab stuff. I know the cost must vary, but does anyone know what I might expect to pay per foot for something along the high-end?

Any suggestions for talented Blacksmith/Iron-workers in my area?

San Francisco Bay Area

Thank you,

Chris

I'd look for sources in 'Fine Homebuilding' and other periodicals. You can probably find a few at the local public library.
