I have a Vulcan anvil with the Arm & Hammer logo. It weighes 75 pounds and I am looking to sell it since we are moving. It looks like the Peter Wright model. Can anyone verify the model?
My dad found it in an old vacated railroad shed when he was a kid and he would be 102 years old now.

I don't know that particular anvil, but an excellent book about anvils, "Anvils in America", is available from:

Richard Postman

RE: Vulcan anvil,

And now that I think about it, there was an "Arm and Hammer" anvil company at one time, so perhaps that is it. Give Richard a call and he can tell you.
