stainless steel question

I've got a stainless steel cylinder brinks lock that I had lost the key for and I was considering using an oxy-acetylene torch to cut it off. I wanted to know if there is a more efficient method to do this without having to buy expensive equipment...thanks in advance

| You could use an angle grinder to cut the clasp. |
