Wiring up a welder

| Hi Guys, I have a question someone here may be able to answer. I'm wiring a new shop with a 3phase convertor that is a 220v unit and I intend to use a Linde 3ph welder that I bought at an auction on this convertor. the welder says on the id plate 208/460v then down by the power cord a sticker says 460v. now the question is do I have to swap some wiring in the welder to use the 208v or does it naturally accept either voltage? Any help would be appreciated. If I left anything out you need to know just let me know and I'll post the info. Thanks |

| Yes .... Open the welder and change wires... The plate you remove to excess the wires should have instructions on it to chance from high/low voltage... |
