Has anyone experienced weight gain when you went OFF HRT? I am 53 years old and am having a difficult time with added weight. I exercise an hour plus per day. Please send advice.

The old tried and true best method for weight loss is to find out approximately how many calories you use per day as a base metabolic rate (generally based on height and weight) then eat less than that number of calories per day. Less in than out equals weight loss. You can easily learn to count calories by getting a basic calorie count book and by reading labels. Mrs H

Yes, I did gain weight after going off HRT. Never had a weight problem before, actually was skinny. Not any more. Been off for 9 years, cannot loose the extra 10 pounds.
