| Hi everyone,
I have been lurking on this site for a while and have found it extremely helpful and reassuring...Thank you!!!
I do have a question regarding acne. I am almost 50 and peri-menopausal. A couple of weeks ago I started get pimples (ALOT) like I did when I was a teen. My face has also become very oily in the t-zone area. Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks!
Cheryl

| Went to the dermatologists and was told the acne outbreak is either related to stress or hormones, but leaning more toward hormones. Sometimes it's nice reliving your youth, but do pimples have to come along with it? lol cheryl |

| Happy New Year!!! Ok for 5 weeks now I’ve been using a new acne clearing regime with unbelievable results. I've had bad acne for 11 years, but not any more thanks to the below routine. Morning: Cleanse with Cetaphil Moisturise with Dermalogica 1 glass of SkinB5 Lunch: 1 glass of SkinB5 Night: Cleanse with Cetaphil Moisturise with Dermalogica 1 glass of SkinB5 Follow these instructions carefully and I can guarantee your acne will clear in weeks. I buy cetaphil, dermalogica from my local pharmacy and SkinB5 at http://www.skinb5.com |

| I developed mild acne as a late menopausal effect - mostly like red dot-like pimples in the T-zone that would last forever. I am very opposed to synthetic chemical solutions whether used systemically (as in pills) or topically (as in weird antiseptic cleansers). Any ingredient with more than ten letters is suspect, and to be avoided. However, I went vegan this year and just by chance started drinking a cup of miso soup for breakfast daily. Voila. Acne gone. Clearly, it's the phytoestrogens. (How many letters does that have? Well, still, NOT synthetic.) Obviously, if you have any tendency toward breast cancer, this is something you would want to avoid, or discuss with your doctor at a minimum. I'm lucky enough to have pretty much zero risk factors, and I feel safer with a more natural alternative. As a bonus, vaginal dryness also improved. |
