All the signs of a period but NO period! Help!

In the past I would always get terrible stomach/bowel issues just right before/during or after my period. I haven't had a period in 3 months now but I still get the symptoms that i am going to..cramping/bowel issues, headache and nausea during the month. Can your body still feel as if it going to get a period even if it never comes? I am 50 and obviously in the midst of this mess but my body is confusing the hell out of me.

i know that exact feeling. I had "phantom" periods for 6 months after giving up the pill back in April. I had every symptom to say that my period was well on its way, cramps ,bloating, the whole she-bang, but it would just never come. 6 months later i finally got one. Just part of the FUN that comes with Perimenopause! my GYNO never once mentioned that this was a possiblity. as a matter of fact he assured me my periods would be heavy and possibly painful after giving up the pill. not that at 48 i would get thrown full into the peri situation. geez thanks for the warning! not!

I can't believe that not one doctor, even my OBGYN ever mentioned to me that my symptoms could be from peri/menopause. I have had insomnia,gerd and stomach issues, anxiety,itchy dry skin,the whole kit and caboodle. I have had many tests to figure this out and eventually chalked it up to perimenopause. It is unbelievable how little they know about this.

spraying helpful during rainy periods

If its getting warm at times you really want to get some sprays down. Especially when it gets into the 80s everything moves a lot faster on the bugs and diseases front with wet and warm conditions. So, I would spray in the middle of it as long as there is not 1/2" or more of rain forecast coming. A huge downpour actually is not that bad, the bugs don't move around and the diseases are getting rinsed off the leaves. Just be ready with the sprayer the instant the rain stops. Here we are having light rains now that I don't pay a lot of attention to as far as spray timing. Note that some sprays are systemic so all you need to do is get them down and dried and you are good. I have been hearing a lot latley about Abulation. (spelling is probably wrong) they go in and do something to your uterus, so you stop having periods, however, unlike a hysterectomy you still have your parts, so you don't go into "early" menopause. I just spent 7 weeks working at a temp job, and 5 of the ladies there said they had it, and were all very happy with their results. I'm thinking about speaking to my doc about it at my next checkup. Bathroom faucets with period finish

I searched all over the internet for someone who made an adjustable bridge faucet for an old sink with non-standard hole width and found www.bathsfromthepast.com -- they also have regular, nonadjustable faucets. Their faucets come in several finishes including an uncoated brass (which will tarnish and patina over time), antique brass, polished nickel (which is what I was looking for...it will also tarnish and patina over time), copper, oil rubbed brass etc. I cannot attest to their quality. I haven't ordered from them yet, but I do plan to. Hope this helps...

Made it past discovery period

Things have clearly changed since the last time we sold a house (which was 1997). It used to be that once you signed the contract, unless there was something major wrong with the house or some type of misrepresentation from either side, the deal went through. Now it seems that buyers can jump out of contracts, especially during the discovery period, without any valid reason at all. Makes it very tough on the sellers - as if the market isn't tough enough. I do hope that once this whole housing situation is sorted out that some of the things from the past (which stage am I now, Tricia? LOL) come back into play. Although greed never seems to go out of fashion so I'm sure that in another 20-30 years, we'll be going through this again.
