Other postings reported that cleaning the carb doesn't always fix the problem. Since a new carb is only $30, I'll probably just replace it.

My skimmer is totally different. So don't know if what I do would work for you. I know it works for me, but there will be bunches of people here on the forum that will disagree. I removed the door and in the slot where the door would go I put a piece of the black (coarsest) Matala mat Then I have 3 baskets that hold filter mats and then the pump is in the rear. My skimmer pulls anything that is floating in the pond and it catches in the Matala Mat, I just take it out and hose it off. I also take the baskets out with the other filter media and hose them off at least once a week sometimes more if I need to. With all the gunk I wash out of the mats, it has to be working. Then after the water goes through all this media it goes to the waterfall. I was having a problem with fish getting in the skimmer. And I actually cut a hole in the top of the skimmer so the frogs can get in there. A frog could never go through my pump and go through to the waterfall. My pump has a filter on it and nothing gets through there unless it is miniscule.And when I remove the baskets of filter media to wash it, I can see the bottom of the skimmer and if there was anything in there I could see it. I found some online, but do you know what type of store sells these items? I usually go to Dayco in columbus Ohio for my appliance parts, but I think this item might be restricted to electrical type supply stores. Any suggestions are appreciated. Hi, I just found this site by searching for menopause answers. I just turned 50 this year but have been taking birth control pills for quite sometime. am still active with sex and scared of having pregnant at my age. I recently stopped my pills at the end of my period last month but actually experiencing some mild hot flashes for a while. Am i going thru menopause? can somebody help me? I ask my doctor about menopausal symptoms but she told me , if i'm still taking birth control pills i might not know if i'm going thru it or not? that's why i decided to stop taking it.
