You may need to soak with PB Blaster or something better for several days - below is a reprint from a previous post of mine. I am not familiar with the pulley on your particular application but I have used an air chisel with a blunt bit driving from behind with great success OR if it is a steel pulley, drill a hole to accept a 5/16" bolt on each side of the center hub out far enough to get a washer and nut on, drill matching holes in a pc. of 1/2" or thicker bar stock in the 1-1/2" wide range. run a bolt into the center of the crankshaft at least an inch and leave it 1/2" above pulley or insert a pc of round stock for a spacer between end of crankshaft and face of pulley, run hardened bolts thru the bar you drilled and thru the pulley, put a washer and nut on the back side, tighten both bolts evenly, hit the center of the bar a good sharp rap may help when there is a lot of tension on the bolts. Jerzee, I really thought about what you posted. I asked myself if I honestly was just jealous of her success. I don't think I'm jealous of her success per se, but rather her success made me question my own abilities. She's a top producer at our office, and I'm lucky to have her as a partner; she's helped me immensely and throws lots of leads and deals my way. I just got home after that day and found myself thinking, "What is WRONG with me?" Like PaigeCT, I was thinking "I *should have* done this-or-that. A "proficient" individual would have done fill_in_the_blank..." I believe that's the root of the whole thing. Her success juxtaposed with my horribly bad open house made me question my own abilities, and made me think that I'd made a mistake, I'd never get it right, I'd screwed everything up, etc. While I know those aren't rational, that's where I was. (Poor DH, when I got home and he asked me how it went, I screamed at him, burst into tears and ran back to the bedroom, leaving him standing there with a cookie crumb dangling from his lips and a bewildered and hurt look on his face.) Fact is, when I'm up, I'm pretty much unstoppable. I don't care what the *facts* are, I can get stuff done. But when my confidence is shaken and I don't believe in myself, the world becomes a very scary place! I just need to chalk that day up for what it was; a learning experience. I need to put on my *big girl pants* and go find someone else to help! (Can you tell I'm beginning to become annoyed with myself? I don't have too much tolerance for being down....) And Susanfnp, I have to say that I've never thought of my "act now---question later" attributes as being GOOD things. I've always considered my impetuous behaviors to be a bad thing, and so I consequently feel guilty about 99% of the time. You really made me realize that I need to have a different perspective! Almost EVERYTHING I do is done without hesitation, and I honestly never looked at that as being a good quality. Just last week, I got the wild hair to remodel a small powder room. One minute I was telling DH that we needed to pick out tile, and then next minute I had the crowbar in my hand removing the old stuff. I felt TOTALLY guilty for 3 days, as I felt like I was "putting everyone out" and not being a good wife, mother, broker, etc. But you know what? That powder room is finished. In 3 days. Why didn't I see that as a good thing before? Wow. What a catharsis. Nothing like seeing your own mess scrawled in black and white on the WWW for a little introspection!! Honestly, thank you. I really do have a different (and much healthier) perspective. And Pecan, I would NEVER turn down your pound cake. It's to die for!

The landscape cloth will work for a couple of years, however as dirt gets in the stone, the effect will disappear. A dozen of years ago the owner of our house put landscape cloth under the stones of the driveway. When I bought the house I noted there was no definition of the driveway as the grass grew in patches through out the drive. I tried to control the grass, but it was not until they removed the stones to put in a concrete driveway that I understood what had happen. PS. To remove grass from gravel concrete works great.

I had what my dr. called a total hysterectomy in in 1999. I still have my ovaries, so don't really understand why they called it a total. Anyway, he didn't want to take the ovaries at that time. He wanted them to work for as long as they could. I am now almost 59. I had a grapefruit size fibroid. They are hereditary in my family. (DB was not happy when I called him and told him he needed to have that conversation with his DD! But I am sure he did, even though he was uncomfortable about it.) I am having no trouble. I would probably elect to have them removed if I had to do it all over again, just so I didn't have to worry about it. I am now taking 1000 mg vitamin C, 400 mg vitamin E, and 3 Evening Primrose Oil capsules daily to keep my hormones balanced, and avoid caffeine, though I do still drink some tea, and definitely eat my chocolate. If I start having more hot flashes or breast pain (caused by the wildly fluctuating hormones, already have seen the breast specialist several years ago for it.) I back off the caffeine again.
