 o
need ovaries removed but I can't have HRT

I'm 46 yrs old with a history of DVT'S. I had my uterus removed 6 years ago but now I really need the ovaries taken as well. it's all well and good to think you won't use HRT but I'm finding it difficult to okay the surgery knowing HRT is off the table for me. I know it's happening hormone free eventually but 8 years from now I won't have a temperamental 16 year old and an 82 year old mother at home.(maybe) I've seen the posts from the women who loved it and owned it and power walked through it, but is there anyone out there like me? how do you get through it if its unbearable and you would happily take the hormones if you could.
thanks
