Excessive Sweating Might Be Thyroid

Several years ago, during a check-up, my GP thought my thyroid looked swollen. He ordered a sonogram of my neck but it was normal. Now, years later, after my successful kidney transplant, I've been having both night and day sweats. My face drips, I need to change my shirt several times a day. My kidney specialist felt my neck and found a very small nodule (one centimeter). He told me to get another scan and see an Endocrinologist. Just letting everyone know heavy sweating is not always from menopause. My last period was in 2007 and my gynecologist says everything down there is normal.
