venous closure...complications?

Posted by redpatchouli (My Page) on

I've had the venous closure, 3 weeks ago tomorrow, on one leg (the next leg is being done in 2 weeks). Finally, the bruising and swelling are almost gone, and I don't see traces of the veins (for those of you who don't know, venous closure is removing the varicose veins through radiofrequency heat via cathether.). I'm wondering if anyone who has had this procedure done has experienced paresthesia, or weird sensation of the skin above the involved vein...mine feels like prickly, hypersensitive sensations...and I'm wondering if if goes away, how long it takes, are there any alternative (natural) treatments for it (ie, vitamin e, aloe, or????)...thanks in advance...c

Did you ever find out what was going on? Just wondering.
