| If you are an us military vet and need health care, please check out the va website. They offer free and low cost copays and sometimes pay for your travel to get to treatment facilities. They have recently lowered the income requirements and are accepting many more people. DH and I just recently learned about the medical benefits and we are receiving great care. You do not have to be service disabled, only need an honorable discharge. If you have an emergency situation, just take your 214 to the emergency room of the nearest va hospital and they will treat you and worry about getting your papers and application done later. |
