I couldn't find the original post to add to it, but I thought it was time to interject a few laughs....

You know you're menopausal when....

the highlight of your day is writing nasty-grams to all the companies/organizations that REALLY tick you off.

[no joke, I'm writing at least one a day!!! I think it is keeping my loved ones safe though...better a nasty-gram to an impersonal than a nasty remark to the people you actually love!]

Hmmm. I see the humor but I've been talking to my over 40 friends, and as a group we've come to the conclusion that assertiveness comes with maturity for women. I'm still polite, and while I don't give people sh!=++, I won't take it anymore. I don't write a letter a day to companies, but if something got me riled, I wouldn't hesitate to speak up.

So, I don't think it's so much menopause that's driving my assertiveness as it's the confidence and (dare I say it) wisdom that comes with having lived a few years.

Invest in a large jar of Sluggo :-) It may not eliminate the problem but will certainly help. Will need to be reapplied freqently, especially if we continue to receive a lot of rain. Always thought slugs were the big issue around here until I moved to a semirural and pretty wooded location and determined it was really snails that were the serious pests. They get places no slugs can get to easily and they can eat everything, including more heavily textured evergreen foliage that most slugs leave alone. Very rewarding to squash them, however, if a bit messy :-)

Hello All, I am currently in menopause stage. I have all the symptoms listed, I had suffer over 3 years now. Recently I feel better by using DIM for stabilized my hormone naturally and using supreme royal jelly to help my sleep. (this will knock you out within 1 hr, this is all natural and have a lot of protein but it quite expensive) along with this you have to use stress relieve supplement to help your adrenal. I have no problem with the dryness. My skin still glowing ,everyone thought I am in 40 but I am in mid 50. I only have mild hot flash sometimes if I forget to take DIM. Also keep up with vitamin supplements daily. It is hard to digest all of these supplements but it will help. i hope this will be informative for everybody that have to suffer. I

I need to add something. When I'm done washing and drying, I line up the baffles in both the washer and dryer so they are either at a 12'oclock or 6'oclock position...like this. (so they look photo-ready) I used to do this with the top loaders agitator fins too.
