| How long do I need to take black cohosh before I know whether or not it is helping control menopausal symptoms? One week, two weeks, a month, a year?
Please let me know what worked for you, or didn't work for you. |

| A couple of weeks, I would guess. I've never had success with herbal remedies. I did go on bioidentical hormones for about a year, and they were helpful. I've stopped taking them, and I'm doing fine. Still getting occasional hot flashes, but my other symptoms have righted themselves. Let us know how you fare with the black cohosh. : ) |

| I don't know about anyone else, but I found relief by using black cohosh by the next day after starting it. Not everything works for everyone. You may have to try several different things before you find something that works for you. |
