after the birth of my 2nd child 17 years ago, i noticed the rate of my hair loss increasing...and knew that hair loss after pregnancy is normal. after my 3rd child, it might have increased somewhat, but i don't remember noticing so much. however, about 10 years ago i defintely began to notice a significant increase in my hair loss-especially during/after washing. i have always had extremely thick and curly hair, and for years it wasn't noticeable. only in the last year or 2 have i noticed that it is thinning.... my ponytail isn't nearly as thick as it used to be and i think i'm getting abit of of a widow's peak... hairline receding abit. over a year ago i worried abit about it and had a physical and thyroid tests, etc and all came out normal.... i'm assuming it's genetic/hormonal. my hair is by no means very thin, but it is much thinner than it was..........

Testosterone is only available by prescription. Anything non-prescription is, at best, something that works by a different mechanism altogether and at worst pure snake oil. "Natural" testosterone is the designation for the bioidentical, as opposed to synthetic (that methytestosterone), version. I do wish it had a better name, since the use of "natural" in a hormone context is so non-standard and confusing. This designation does however, according to my compounding pharmacist, convey the correct variety in a prescription. Judy, my experience with it is similar to yours. While the cream didn't turn me into the sex fiend of my husband's wildest fantasies, it did tune my overall sense of wellbeing and energy up a notch that had been missing on just estrogen and progesterone. I find it also has a positive impact on vaginal lubrication and elasticity. Framboise

Wow,I definetly dont feel alone after reading everyone's thoughts on this.I am 33 years old, and I am to the point where I am very frustrated with my marraige and my husband. I have been married for three years, my husband has no desire in making love to me, or correcting the problem. He tells me he is going to make things better, but it never happens...instead, he prefers to drink his beer every night and go to bed. I have tried to get him to stop drinking, but he is an alcoholic..and it just made things worse, so I gave up. I am so fed up, but I do love him. I am not a cheater, so I have asked myself many times...Do I just need to go ahead and get out? I know three years isnt a long time compared to some of you ladies, but I feel the same way as yall when it comes to the pain and anger. I have cried many times because I feel I am not pretty enough, good enough exct. He had a great sex life with his ex wife...and she is anything but what I am. I have constantly tried to talk to him about it, we have tried the counseling thing, books, lingire, ext. In my past relationship, I was used to being one over, and made love to, but my husband cant even touch me...Uggggh. Im really to young to have to deal with this crap, but I dont want to leave because I love him, and I dont look forward to the pain I will have to go through when I do leave.....This isnt fair. I have tried to just take care of me, and play all the little mind games, but you guys see where it got me. He is laying next to me sleeping, and Im posting in a forum for women with this problem.....I feel sorry for all of us. After all we do for them,you would think that they could give us a little of their time. Geeze. Any more advice on how to deal with this? I have enjoyed reading some of the other posts.

It is very easy to feel alone. Most of the women I know are through it or went through it before me, no one really talks about it, I feel like I am having more problems than most. My mother, who is deceased, relied on pain pills and muscle relaxers, I have no intention of doing that. Like you said, some things I can eat and then all of the sudden I can't. I used to be extremely active but because of fatigue I do very little. Honestly, I feel like a shadow of who I used to be. I pray that it will gradually pass. You are not alone, I have read of others who are struggling. I don't know why some women have more problems than others. I always had very heavy periods, maybe I had a lot of estrogen, who knows. I can't do hormone replacement, my mom had breast cancer. I've tried a million kinds of supplements, my body is so sensitive that they either bother my stomach or any kind of photoestrogen makes me feel crampy like I've started something up so that's out. I can take a few supplements that I've found, just a lose dose B complex, vitamin D, calcium, and vitamin E for hot flashes. Sorry this is so long, just wanted to give you an idea of my situation.
