I want to be there for my mom...How??

Hi ladies!

I am here looking for ways to support my wonderful mother, who is approaching 52. She has been suffering with perimenoupasal symptoms for a few years now and I am starting to really worry about her. She just got over a horrible bout of depression, which is NOT like her, and I know is caused by menopaus. She is the most bubbly person you will ever meet. We have a very open relationship and she knows she can come to me with anything. I was just speaking with my dad last night (they have been married 30 years) and he said he was really concerned she might be going crazy. She snaps at him constantly and he cannot talk to her about anything without her freaking out (she thinks he is always trying to prove her wrong and he thinks he is just having normal conversations).

Anyway, most of what you describe here, I believe she is going through. So my question to you all is:

What could your loved ones do to better support you? Should I make her go for walks with me??
How can I support her and help her through this the best way possible?

I am truely grateful for your time.

Alisha
