can we use prog cream all the time, no stopping?

I use progesterone cream for 14 days of the month. (emerita brand by dr. lee) and for 21 days of the month i use climara estrogen patch 0.02mg. I do not get regular cycles with this even though my doc wants it this way. I asked him why and he said "your cycles come once every 3 months, so this would regulate you" It doesnt regulate me...(He approves of me using dr.lees creams)....... Would it hurt me in any way if i use progesterone cream all the 30 days of the month along with the patch? I really like the way this cream makes me feel..I am trying to achieve a cycle every month to avoid built up lining...

We all know you can't use estrogen without progesterone if you have a uterus, because of the cancer risk. So one day I asked myself what about taking progesterone without estrogen? I typed into my search engine progesterone without estrogen and several interesting sites came up. For example go to: www.rxmixer.com/hormone3.html
I'm perimenopausal so still having periods but very light. I was a good week overdue and feeling very bloated and irritable so I bought a tube of progesterone over the counter and have been using it for a couple of weeks now. It brought me period on and it was much heavier, so definitely helps promote shedding of lining. I realise it's not a good idea to buy things over the counter and play Dr but I don't think a couple of weeks of progesterone cream will do me too much harm. I live in Paris and have an appointment with my gynae to discuss the situation on 15 Jan. I tried HRT twice last year - once pills and once patches and both times I had unpleasant side effects esp weight gain and bloating - caused by the estrogen no doubt. So maybe progesterone is the answer? I had a rough patch before Xmas with migraines and heart palpitations, which started after the funeral of a dear Uncle - I found myself lying in bed thinking who's next and worrying about my ageing parents. I read up a lot on the Net - about migraines, menopause, various hormones and supplements - and decided to take some magnesium, which is a good general tonic - our GP suggested our teenage son take it last year with calcium during exams when he was a bit stressed out. Anyway I am feeling much, much better and more like my old self.

Hi guys! No, I didn't finally jump over the ledge :) I just took a small hiatus. I boarded "charliedawg" in a kennel, packed the suitcases, got the family in the car and got the heck out of here. WHEW! If I ever build a house again (which I highly doubt I will) I will definitely put mental health vacation $$$$ in my budget. LOL Tragusa, I'm not glad that you had all of the problems but I'm glad to know that it worked out for you so I know it will all be ok fo me too. GC will be back tomorrow. She has ALWAYS made things perfect so I'm not sure why I doubted it now. I think I just felt out of control because she is gone. I'm not the type that needs to be in control of such a big project, I guess ya'll figured that out by now.

Do you cook all food using convection? do you modify recipe times

I took a little course put on by the Wolf distributor here ... it was very informational. They didn't recommend using straight convection for anything that has much of a side on the pan, because the side blocks the air circulation, which is how the food is being cooked, so the top will cook faster than the inside. But it's fine to use convection with cookie sheets and broiler pans, or at least try to use the lowest side available. Also, don't cover food if you're using convection. They recommended convection bake for pies, not straight convection. And, if you are using straight convection, flavors will not transfer (eg, it's okay to bake a tray of bacon-wrapped scallops on one rack and cookies on another). They also said to turn down heat 25 degrees and reduce time 20 to 25 percent with convection, which matches what I've heard elsewhere. Here is the percentage of oven element used for each mode (this is for Wolf) Bake stone = 40% broil, 60% stone Bake = 10% broil, 90% bake (the hidden element on bottom) Convection bake = 90% fan, 10% bake Broil = 100% broil Convection broil = 100% broil, 100% fans Roast = 25% broil, 75% bake Convection roast = 25% broil, 75% fans Convection = 100% fans

Many apologies for the delay in sending this message. Have been out of town and only gotten back now. Bob -- My problem was I could program the first remote "A" and it programmed. However, remote "B" would not program. If I cleared all codes on the gdo and programmed remote "B" first, it programmed, but remote "A" would not program. No matter what remote I programmed first, "A" or "B" it would program, but the second remote would never program. The problem according to the technician was the 'rolling codes.' If the gdo is using 'rolling codes' and one of the remotes becomes defective and uses 'fixed coding' it will not program. His solution was to purchase new remotes and I am happy to report that his solution was correct. I purchased two new remotes. Both of these new remotes programmed. Of my two original remotes, one of them programmed, the other did not. The one that did not was the defective remote; i.e., the one that was using 'fixed coding.' I hope this helps. Chuck

Not sure about the clicks, I would suggest doing a search, I feel certain this has been discussed before. As for the discoloration and scrapes, I have those on my BS range also. I favor two burners quite a bit so they have more "seasoning" than the other two and are colored a little differently now. I also use mostly copper pots and enameled cast iron so I have some scrapes from moving pots and pans around on the grates. I just take a sponge to the grates when they are cool and wipe and they tend to disappear with a little elbow grease. I really should be more careful moving my pans around I guess!
