Is this a hot flash?

Hi all,
I think I've been in perimenopause for about 3-4 years. I have been hot my entire life, but I've never had the usual hot flashes. I've started having this, though: I feel dizzy, nauseous and almost feel like I'm going to pass out. Then I get weak for awhile and my face feels mildly warm. Then, I get really cold. Do you think this is my form of a hot flash? I never do things the way everyone else does them. |

| Possibly is a hot flush Catherine. I always feel cold for a while after one. Some people have them more intensely than others and as you say, you never do things by half! There is always the possibility that this may be something else though, so check with your Doctor. Joan |
