Prometrium Question

| Hi Everyone! I just found this forum and hope someone can help me please! I am 46 and in peri meno. I have all the wonderful irregular periods last couple of years. Short cycle/long cycles. heavy/light bleeding. Dr put me on Prometrium and I took them for the 2 weeks I was suppose to. Starting bleeding 2 days later. Had what I consider a "normal" (whatever that is anymore) period for about 5 days. Stopped bleeding for 2 and now I am bleeding again! This a first for me and I'm a little concerned. Does anyone know if its the Prometrium that caused this? Maybe it takes a few cycles for things to regulate? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! |

| Healthsquare.com it has alot of information on Prometrium. The side effects are long, but they are for most EVERYTHING these days. I see my OBGYN tomorrow, I will be happy to ask her and get back with you. Hang in there. |

Thanks shotzy52. I will check out the web site you mentioned. Finally stopped bleeding (fingers crossed LOL)
