First you are confusing correlation with cause and effect. It is a common problem. If your observations are reproducible, you might start looking for environmental causes. There are way too many uncontrolled variables in your situation to fly off the handle and start buying CO detectors and other equipment, or blaming the HVAC system. That considered, A partial vacuum in the sleeping room (induced by the HVAC system for more than one reason) can cause air to be sucked in through leaks from other areas, rooms or outside. You can draw in allergens, fumes and whatnot from the attic, outside or a crawlspace. I agree with sleeping with the door open as a test. In addition, with the fan on, and the door cracked open just a little, which way does the air blow, in or out of the room? Is the door undercut significantly? Where are your supplies and returns? These are all things that will indicate and influence pressure differentials.

If your dog isn't eating, then there's nothing to poop out. Is she peeing? Because if not, that is a life-threatening emergency and your dog needs to be seen by a vet NOW. Aspirin and rimadyl should NEVER be combined as serious consequences can result, especially stomach ulcers and liver toxicity. You need a washout period of a couple of days at least before changing from aspirin to rimadyl or vice versa. Add phenobarbital to the list and liver toxicity becomes even more likely. Most dogs with stomach ulcers and/or liver toxicity don't eat and don't move. I have no idea what reloxofin is. Closest I got on a search is raloxifene is an osteoporosis drug which makes no sense to me giving it to a dog for vestibular signs. Amoxicillin, while not harmful, isn't doing a bit of good. If there is an infection causing vestibular signs, it is in the brain or in the ears, and amoxi doesn't penetrate either of those tissues well enough to do any good. If I suspect an infection causing vestibular signs, my arsenal of antibiotics is ciprofloxacin, clindamycin, and doxycycline. That combination gets most of the common aerobic, anaerobic, and intracellular and tick-born causes of neurological signs. If that combo doesn't relieve at least some of the clinical signs within 3 days, then the cause of the signs isn't likely to be bacterial. Is the vet sure there isn't a back problem? Is there a head tilt? If there is no head tilt and no nystagmus (eyeballs twitching side to side) then it is not vestibular disease and probably either a brain problem or a spinal problem. Also most dogs with senile vestibular disease get over it without treatment. They usually don't just lay around, and their coordination improves obviously over a short period of time. Maybe not 100% better, but definitely better within a couple of days to a week. I strongly recommend another visit to the vet. In the least, your dog needs a chem panel and cbc to make sure that combination of drugs isn't killing her, because it can. I hope whatever is going on is easily fixable and she gets better soon.

I never have dizziness in my life, until I got my 1st flu-shot twenty years ago, got so dizzy that I could not wrestle with my toddler. The 2nd flu-shot in 2015 was horrible, the dizziness was so bad that I wished I could die. That flu-shot made my inner ear swollen, my left ear was bleeding, and my nose was bleeding. When I changed position from lying down to sitting up, I saw ceiling rotating, then I vomited from the dizziness. I went to the doc. and he found my ears all plugged up. He suggested rinsing my ears with hydrogen peroxide. That DID NOT HELP. The exercises (recommended by another doc) to disloge the mineral-build-up or crystals in my inner ears DID NOT help. What helped the most was Mayo Clinic's recommendation of rinsing ears with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl alcohol). I let the solution soaked for 5 min. in my ears, and that dislodged some ear-wax. Vertigo was reduced 50%. Went back to the doc, and he sent me to an ENT doc (ear, nose throat specialist). This specialist used a tool to remove the hardened ear wax in both ears, and VERTIGO was gone for good. But the pneumonia (from that 2015 flu shot) lasted for over a month, and was gone with antibiotics. Now 7 years later, I don't have vertigo unless I get too much hard-well water and shampoo in my ears while showering. A five-minute rinse of 1/2 alcohol and 1/2 vinegar helps to disloge the calcium-deposit from hard-well water, plus the shampoo leaves irritating residue that can inflame ears, leading to vertigo. I really should change my shampoo to a more gentle one, like baby shampoo, without harsh chemicals to leave a residue in the ear canals. My husband also had the same problem with 2016 flu-shot. His ears got plugged up with vertigo, so he bought a solution to "melt" the ear-wax, but that got worse. He had to go to an ENT doc to remove the ear-wax. He also got a bad cold right after his flu-shot. He never get any flu-shot afterwards, and zero cold since 2016. I have 3 siblings who are doctors (emergency med., general practice/dermatologist, and internal medicine). The docs in my family told me that flu-shot DOES not help with common cold nor pneumonia, it only helps to prevent a few viral strains that scientists "think" you might catch. Some people also get vertigo as a side-effect of Covid-shots. For that reason, I never have Covid-shots, and I don't catch Covid either as of today, Dec. 1, 2022. Husband never have Covid shots, and he caught a VERY MILD Covid this July 4 which lasts only day, then he ran 6 miles afterward as a 63 year-old-male. After my horrible vertigo with 2015 flu-shot, I never get any flu shot, so far ZERO colds as of today. I eat lots of vitamin-C fruits, drink tons of no-sugar fresh lemon juice, and lots of chicken for zinc., plus sunshine fo vitamin D. Eating well is the best medicine, with zero side-effects like flu shots. I'm 61-year-old.
