Urination Problem after Menopause

Posted by cactuscatie (My Page) on

I never thought I would be posting on this subject. But here I am. After urination I drip a bit and I was wondering if this is a symptom of menopause. I was also wondering if there is any OTC or vitamins or minerals to take to stop this dripping issue.

I'm having the same issue. I was watching an episode of "The Doctors" the other day (the medical show, is there still a soap opera?!) and it was mentioned that women could purchase several devices to exercise the pelvic floor. I wondered if anyone had tried them, and whether they were any more effective than the old-fashioned "Practice starting and stopping the flow" which doctors have said for years.

Whew, at least I'm not alone. Hopefully someone will weigh in on the exercises or possibly another alternative.

Thanks, evaf555, for answering my post.
