Help Me! i don't know what's wrong with it!
Comments (3)You can take the battery out and take it to your local auto parts store like autozone (if you do note how the cables are hooked up). They will usually charge it and load test it for free. As bill said the battery is probably dead dud. But, you still need to clean the battery terminals at both ends and try to charge it it you have a charger, if not take it and have it tested. If you stored it inside (garage or shed) they minimal start up maintenance will probably get her going. If it was sitting out in the rain then you may have you work cut out for you....See MoreAmaryllis don't love me, now have 4 more! pls help!
Comments (5)Bulbs are prone to rot when the drainage is not adequate, and the soil holds too much moisture for too long. To combat this, use clay pots with drainage holes, and for medium, use a very porous bonsai mix, or something close to it. Only water when the soil around the root ball is dry. The easy way to check for moisture is to grab a package of bamboo skewers from your local grocery store, gently insert one in each pot, pointed end into the soil toward the center of the pot on an angle, and pull it out every once in a while to test for moisture. Press the skewer gently to your cheek, and if it feels cool and damp, don't water. Wait until the skewer comes out normal and dry. Hippeastrum bulbs needs lots of light, so place them in south or east windows, where they'll get plenty of sunshine. It wouldn't hurt to use supplemental lighting, at about 16-18 hours a day, with a rest in the dark the other hours. Feeding is easy... either use a liquid houseplant fertilizer mixed with the water, or sprinkle a little time release plant food on top of the soil. Osmocote is a good brand, just follow the directions for houseplants. Keep in mind that a "green thumb" is nothing more than applied knowledge... read about the basics for Hippeastrum culture, and just care for them as the information states. These bulbs can take a bit of abuse, as long as it isn't over-watering. More bulbs are killed with kindness than with neglect. So, if you're not sure a bulb needs water, it's best to wait a bit. I hope this helps... I just grow mine as houseplants, and they bloom every spring....See MoreNeed help with roof framing ASAP - my framers don't know what to do
Comments (6)This is only the first in a series of skills challenges that you will be facing on such an ambitious project. I have some concerns as to whether you have done your due diligence with the framers that you hired. As well as the design plans that you had created. They don't seem to posess the basic skills needed for the job. And you seem to be in over your head. Perhaps you should talk with some General Contractors in order to get you to a dried in stage with all of the plumbing and electrical roughs completed. Perhaps the bank financing the loan or the local permit office could provid you with some names to interview. Good luck!...See MorePlease help me. I don't know what I am doing.
Comments (18)I might look for a lamp that could move forward on the chest enough (without danger of toppling off) that the shade just hides that thermostat. Place it just a couple inches to the right of where it is now, or move the whole chest to the right a bit. It won't affect the functionality, esp if you use an LED bulb = no heat. Then look for a large piece of art, or a couple of stacked pieces to fill in over the right side of the chest, as shown above. Another idea is a gallery wall incorporating the thermostat: I would trade you those beautiful folded blankets for the star wars lego decor my grandson has decorated my house with! eta: I was just looking at it again and think Cyn's idea to switch the cabinets would work. You could then place the floor lamp in front of the thermostat and just ignore it....See Moreamyfiddler
