Need Ideas on how to get hubby to spice it up...

We've been married 9 years and I'm EXTREMELY sexual. Hubby works hard and goes to bed rather early (5-6pm) and is up between 11:30p and 1a.

I am having the most horrid time getting him to understand that Sex is getting boring for me. He doesn't even take his time any more and some time I don't even get "there".

I have tried to talk him into getting a "toy" but he's all "you don't need one of those, you'd get one that is bigger than me." .... to me he is not satisified with size but I've never complained.

any way. I know this is rather personal but I really need some suggestions on how to spice it up.. I'm tired of the same ol' same ol'.

Oh boy.If he isnt satisfied with his size,he is going to be insecure about things. Someone else I know had the same issue with her husband.
Questions...
You guys have kids?

Why does he go to bed at 5 or 6pm and get up at 11pm?

Do these hours conflict with yours?

Every sex life goes through ups and downs.The key is,to find the reason it is doing so.Are you both getting enough sleep?
Are you working too much? Are you stressed about things? Need a break from kids? A change of scenery?
When this happens to me and my husband,we have very open communication,so we talk about it. We try to figure out together what is going on.

Then it's a baby-sitter for our child,a night on the town,and maybe a nice hotel room.
Other times it's something as simple as turning off the tv!
You'd be surprised how many missed chances come from the tv.

With your husband sounds like you need to make it clear it IS NOT HIS SIZE that is the problem,but that you need more time and a variety of ways.
It is actually quite common for women to not be able to "get there". Maybe if your husband is kind enough if you cant "get there" with intercourse he could help you in some other way???

Personnaly I'd use Weed-B-Gone on their unsightly grass, because it will cost you money to hide it if you want to build a raised bed which means bringing in additional soil. Bamboo is very invasive it could be a mistake, because it could take over your garden bed. HD has those concrete blocks that are straight and curved. Oh, Judith, your idea sounds lovely, too. I only wish I had a Michael's nearby, closest one is about 75 miles away. Now- go forth and make faeries, woman! This is what I did- at WalMart I bought 5- 5 packs of a Rubbermaid container, it's a decent size, clear top and bottom, deep enough to hold some excelsior and the faerie. (Our deli uses cups instead of boxes, rats.) Then from Hobby Lobby I got some wired gold ribbon (50% off!) to wrap around the container to disguise its clearness. On top of that I'll put a little pinecone pick, it's wired with some cones and berries together and a smidge of greenery. I'll make a tag for each one using my alphabet stamps, "Gardenia" or "Fuchsia" or whatever and tie that to the package top with a gold cord. Voila! It'll soon all be done, yay, and for less than a dollar each! And all the recipients will have a faerie AND a new container for leftovers! lol Thanks for all the help and ideas and brainstorming with me, ladies!

I think you need some taller things... Also not sure that the distressing on the mirror frame is quite right...are you open to painting it? I hope more people chime in as "surfaces" is SO not my forte...I get a bit of anxiety when faced with an empty surface, lol! (I wanna go to the Brimfield flea market, too...) Did you try the wrath over the mirror?

You need more movement and visual excitement in your landscaping. I'm not a fan of puff ball shrubs and that tall bush in the recess needs replacing with something that won't get so out of control. The hedge just right of the entry looks to have been poorly manicured for years and so is dying underneath. I suggest a landscape architect to redesign the whole thing with a plan you can install over time if you don't have the budget to do it in one fell swoop.
