I'm preparing to go apply for my marriage license. What did you bring? Just an ID?
Follow-Up Postings:

You usually have to bring more than your ID (think Birth certificate or passport and SS card) I believe it varies by state or county. You should call your town or county office and ask them what you need to bring. You also have to bring your checkbook and your Fiance!! -renee

I also had to show my divorce papers from the previous mess...uh, I mean marriage. If you were widowed, you would bring the death certificate.
|
Call the county clerk at the courthouse and ask. Each state has their own rules. You may find that you both will need to submit the results of a blood test for verneral diseases.
